The large anti-submarine ship (BOD) Admiral Panteleev of the Pacific Fleet left its base in Vladivostok to participate in an anti-submarine exercise in the waters of the Sea of Japan.
In Peter the Great Bay, the Admiral Panteleev BOD will take on board the Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopter for a joint exercise to search for submarines of a conditional enemy.
As part of the beginning of the exercise, the ship’s personal crew worked out actions for emergency preparation for combat and a campaign and went to sea to the designated area.
One of the diesel-electric submarines of the Pacific Fleet will be involved in the role of a submarine of a conditional enemy, the crew of which, in turn, will work out covert overcoming of anti-submarine lines with maneuvering and evading pursuit after detection.
