We are glad to welcome you on another visit to the Russian Federation.
The situation in the world is developing rapidly. This applies to North Africa, including the Syrian settlement.
Unfortunately, our efforts aimed at implementing Security Council resolution 2254 are affected by the atmosphere that our colleagues are now forcing, trying to create an almost insurmountable confrontation between the Russian Federation and the Western alliance.
Of course, we will not allow such attempts to undermine our ability to achieve concrete results, negatively affect the development of the closest strategic relations between Russia and the Syrian Arab Republic and our efforts to achieve a just peace based on strengthening the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of your country.
Our presidents define the tasks facing us. This was confirmed by their next contact, which took place in September last year.
I am sure that today we will be able to usefully discuss how to specifically promote these tasks and implement them.
