Welcome!

We are glad that our relations are developing on a solid, mutually beneficial and respectful basis. All countries should communicate in this way among themselves in accordance with the UN Charter. Unfortunately, our Western friends do not respect international law, trying to destroy it and promote what they call a “rules-based order.”

As you may have already heard, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a detailed statement this morning in connection with NATO’s actions and the announcement that they are no longer limited to the territories of member states, but claim to be on a large scale. They are “responsible for world security.” The way they promote so-called strategies in the Indo–Pacific region – this, of course, indicates that they have an “appetite” for the whole planet.

We had intense and detailed discussions with our American colleagues, with other NATO members. We hope that there is still a chance to return to international law and international obligations. And since we are taking the measures announced by the President to ensure the security of the country and the Russian people, we will certainly always be ready for a dialogue that will return us to justice and the principles of the UN Charter.

I should have said this before we turn to the issues of Russian-Pakistani relations, which, as I have already said, we highly value and hope for the continuation of this cooperation.
