The implementation of Strategy-2025, in particular the preparation of the Main areas of economic development until 2035, the Concept for the introduction of green economy principles in the EAEU and the report on the macroeconomic situation in the member states were discussed at a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Macroeconomic Policy, which was held on November 9 at the headquarters of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

They also considered the results of the monitoring of macroeconomic indicators that determine the sustainability of economic development of the EEU states. As follows from the results of monitoring, in the first half of 2022 in most EEU states there was an improvement in fiscal and debt indicators. However, due to unfavorable external factors, in some EEU countries the quantitative limits on inflation in September were exceeded.

Members of the committee agreed on individual proposals to improve the rules for the development and adoption of recommendations and joint measures aimed at stabilizing the economic situation, if the EEU states exceeded the quantitative values of macroeconomic indicators, determining the sustainability of economic development.

The next meeting of the Advisory Committee is planned to be held in April 2023 in full-time format.
