On September 21, a working meeting was held in the Interstate Union of Hero Cities.

The meeting was attended by:

  • Shakirzyanov Marat Ildusovich-General Director of the ZurArt Foundation, Director for Eastern Europe of the association “Humanity inside War” (Italy).
  • Tkachev Alexey Semyonovich
    First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Interstate Union of Hero Cities.
  • Elena Gromova-Deputy Head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth Policy  The Interstate Union of Hero Cities.
  • Galibina Elena Gennadyevna-Head of the group of companies RusMir LLC. Advertising and production enterprise ( Printing, souvenirs, fabric printing, medals, Figurines). President of the Russian World Club, member of the Association of Social Associates of the President of the Russian Federation. Member of the Union of Women’s Forces of Russia.

Marat Shakirzyanov spoke about the activities of the association “Humanity inside the war”. About the president of the association, Professor Paulo Pascolo. About the book ” What an amazing guy”, which was written by Paulo Pascolo’s father-Ferdinando Pascolo. Based on the book, an International Children’s Drawing Contest “Humanity inside the War”was created.

He also spoke about the international drawing contest ” Humanity inside War”, which was held under the patronage of UNESCO, with the support of the UN.

Statistics of the results of the 1st International Children’s Drawing Contest ” Humanity inside the War”:

  • 6311 applications were submitted for the competition from 15 countries
  •  3833 children were admitted to participate
  •  200 finalists
  • were selected, 20 winners
  • were selected online, the official website was visited by over 1 million people.

Alexey Tkachev, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Interstate Union of Hero Cities, spoke about the organization’s projects related to the theme “children of war”.

The Interstate Union of Hero Cities was founded in 2004 at the suggestion of the heads of a number of state and public structures of Russia, Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Abkhazia in order to unite and coordinate efforts to patriotic education of citizens, especially children and youth on the glorious military and labor traditions of Hero Cities.
In 2005, the Interstate Union of Hero Cities became one of the initiators of the establishment of the honorary title “City of Military Glory” in Russia, and on September 2, 2010 – the public honorary international title “City of Labor Valor and Glory”. The appearance of such cities creates a powerful base for the historical, heroic, patriotic, spiritual and moral education of the population, especially the younger generation in the Russian Federation.

The parties agreed on further close cooperation.
