On February 14, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic in Moscow Smail Benamara at his request.
During the conversation, topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Algerian relations were discussed, including the schedule of upcoming contacts on various lines. At the same time, special attention was paid to the preparation of the 10th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
There was also an in-depth exchange of views on key aspects of the situation in the Middle East, North Africa and the Sahara-Sahel region.
