On February 28, at the initiative of the Bosnian-Herzegovina side, the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with a member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Serbian people M. Dodik.
An exchange of views was held on the implementation of the agreements following the meeting of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin with M. Dodik in Moscow in December 2021. Steps are planned to intensify efforts in this direction.
They reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strict compliance with the Dayton Accords on Bosnia and Herzegovina and to countering the growing attempts to rewrite the principles contained therein and approved by the UN Security Council for the benefit of the EU and NATO and to the detriment of the people of Republika Srpska.
The detailed explanations of the Russian side regarding the situation around Ukraine, the motives of the relevant decisions taken by the leadership of our country were received with understanding.
