Since 2015, the quality of service in Moscow polyclinics for adults and children has been actively improved, as well as the renovation of the buildings themselves inside and outside. Thanks to crowdsourcing platforms, it was possible to attract residents of the city and find out the most important proposals in the work of the capital’s medical institutions. The discussion was held at the “Active Citizen” site, more than 58 thousand people took part in this issue of modernizing modern polyclinics. In addition to suggestions on the work schedule of institutions, especially in the evening, the survey also included design features. It was decided to standardize the work of all polyclinics, as well as Outpatient Cancer care Centers.

More than 200 medical institutions are planned to be updated in 5 years, 65 of which have already appeared before Muscovites in a new format.

“The overhaul of Moscow polyclinics is an event that many residents of the capital were looking forward to.

The condition of not all buildings meets modern requirements. Some of them were built in the middle of the last century and earlier. Therefore, major repairs are required in many polyclinics. These buildings are waiting for a comprehensive modernization. Engineering systems in them are outdated and need to be replaced. Power supply systems of buildings are often not designed for the capacity required for the operation of new equipment. Now it is impossible to install modern diagnostic equipment in such premises.

The main asset of any city is its inhabitants. Taking care of their health, creating better living conditions is the most important task.

The polyclinic is the place where every Muscovite comes at least once a year. Therefore, they will be made as comfortable as possible.” – it is said on the website of the Moscow Government.

The new format is very convenient for residents of the capital: the time in the queue has been reduced, MFC administrators attached to each medical institution have come to help with consultations and routing (this is another new Moscow project related to the introduction of sincere service to the Health Department), the internal environment in the institutions themselves has become much more comfortable, the technique for additional research has improved and patient health surveys.

The feedback from visitors is also positive – Muscovites appreciated the innovations of the city.

We are waiting for new projects to improve the quality of life of city residents and a comfortable environment around!
