It is an authoritative platform for discussions and consultations of industry and business representatives with the authorized state bodies on the realities and development perspectives in the current conditions.

At the same time, the joint efforts of business, governments and the Commission have managed to ensure a positive dynamics in the development of the real sector of the economy of our countries. Over nine months of this year industrial production in the EAEU exceeded the level of the corresponding period last year,” said Mikhail Myasnikovich.

He underlined that under the current conditions the role of the cooperation increases and the Union member states have the necessary reserves for that. According to the head of the Collegium of the EEC, the forum will help the Commission to develop additional mechanisms for upgrading basic industries and productions.

“The Commission will be grateful for the forum’s analysis and suggestions for updating the map of the EAEC industrialization, which includes 158 projects in 25 industries worth over $270 billion,” said Mikhail Myasnikovich. – We would like to see new projects added to those already underway, including automotive, machine tools, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and other industries, especially import-dependent.

The EEC Collegium Chairman noted that the Eurasian Economic Commission will continue to promote business projects and support proposals aimed at developing the industrial potential of the Union countries.

“I am sure that with joint efforts we will be able to realize the responsible task set by the heads of our states to ensure technological independence of the EAEC,” summed up Mikhail Myasnikovich.
