On November 25, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia M.L. Bogdanov received the Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic in Moscow Bashar Ja’afari at his request.
During the conversation the sides exchanged views on developments in Syria and around it, including in the light of the results of the 19th meeting of the International meeting on Syria in the “Astana format” which ended yesterday in the capital of Kazakhstan.
They also reviewed pressing issues of further strengthening of the Russian-Syrian multifaceted cooperation, including the tasks of promoting socio-economic reconstruction of the Syrian Arab Republic.
