OXIOMA

The OXIOMA jewelry brand was founded in 2018 by Oksana Popruzhenko and Maria Lykova, graduates of the Jewelry Design course at the British Higher School of Design.  Since then, they have created several successful collections, collaborated with the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, exhibited in contemporary art galleries and won competitions, including the international A’ design, held in Italy. The basis of the creative union was a similar approach to aesthetics, the search for new forms and meanings, as well as the courage to use unconventional materials.

Pelagia threads. New earrings from the Golubushka collection. The kokoshnik of a strict laconic form is decorated with embroidery – pigeons and a lot of chains that respond to every movement.

Golubushka rings. The first rings in the collection. The shape of the shin repeats the oval of the face, decorated with a kokoshnik. Through the decoration of headdresses, we communicate to the elements, which are an integral element of Russian culture and traditions.

Collection “Trees”. A collection of brooches and earrings designed for the exhibition “ Brother Ivan. Collections of Mikhail and Ivan Morozov” for the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. A design inspired by the landscapes of Monet, Renoir, Matisse, Levitan, Serov and others. It is based on the interpretation of the bizarre shapes and colors of trees from canvases. The work uses ceramics with original glazes, made by hand.

Kimono. It is with great joy and trepidation that we present to you our first kimono. The cut uses traditional sleeve shapes, there are comfortable pockets, the belt is held on harnesses. Flying, flowing due to natural flax. Double print – on the back and front with a fabulous Russian kokoshnik. For us, the combination of Japanese and Russian cultures is very symbolic, because our brand is permeated with the meanings and images of these cultures. Kokoshnik’s illustration “My Light Mirror” was developed in collaboration with talented artist Yara Klepikova. We also used it in the last brooch with a finish.
