On February 12, at the initiative of the Kuwaiti side, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov had a telephone conversation with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Majdi Az-Zafiri.
During the conversation, international and Middle Eastern issues of mutual interest were discussed, including in the light of the imperative principle of indivisibility of security in interstate relations. They also touched upon topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Kuwaiti ties, including maintaining an active political dialogue.
