By the end of 2024, an increase in the number of common processes within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union is expected, according to which information exchange between the EAEU countries will be carried out. This was stated by the Minister for Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies of the Eurasian Economic Commission Varos Simonyan during a round table held on the sidelines of the digital forum in Almaty “Digital Almaty 2023″: Digital Partnership in a new reality” with the participation of relevant ministers of the Union countries.
The EEC Minister stressed the high involvement of Member States in the implementation of common processes within the Union, the increasing technical readiness of countries in this regard with the assistance of the Commission.
“The year 2023 will be of fundamental importance for us, because we have to solve a serious task – to ensure the proper functioning of more than 50 common processes in the Union,” Varos Simonyan said.
According to him, by the end of 2024, the EAEU is expected to increase to more than 70 the number of common processes on which information exchange between the allied countries will be carried out. The Commission sets itself the task of providing full technical and organizational support for information exchange in the G2G format within the framework of various business processes.
“Together with the current tactical tasks, guided, among other things, by the Target Program until 2027, we ensure the gradual transition of the integrated information system of the Union to a digital platform, that is, to a more modern and effective model of interaction,” Varos Simonyan summed up.
