Solar-powered benches and heated planters for coniferous plants will be tested in Moscow, 360 reports with reference to the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin.
According to the mayor, the solar energy received will be enough to operate the built-in Wi-Fi router, lighting lamps, as well as USB connectors for charging gadgets.
Pots with heating will help to avoid the death of coniferous plants in the city. In the winter season, they will keep warm, in the spring they will warm up the ground and allow the plant to take moisture from the soil, and in the summer they will connect an automatic watering system, Sobyanin noted.
Earlier it was reported that this year the transformation of the Yauza Park will be completed in Moscow. Sports grounds and bike paths are waiting for outdoor enthusiasts. Children’s complexes are equipped for young visitors.
