Azerbaijan has entered the top five countries most visited by Russian tourists.

It is reported that against the background of limited air traffic with Europe, the popularity of travel to the CIS countries has increased markedly this year. Tour operators note that popular destinations among Russians are Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.
It is noted that Russian tourists are satisfied with the prices in Azerbaijan. Operators sell them tours to Baku and its surroundings, as well as to the regions.
According to the Border Service of the FSB of Russia, 68.9 thousand Russians went to Azerbaijan in the first half of 2023. The flow of tourists from Russia to Azerbaijan has increased 4 times during this period.
