On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the 55th anniversary of the Faculty of International Journalism.
Long-standing traditions, the highest level of teaching, a combination of time-tested educational methods and innovative approaches have earned the faculty a reputation as one of the main domestic “forges of personnel” in the field of international information. Among its graduates are prominent statesmen, talented diplomats, and media professionals. Many of them have made and continue to make a great personal contribution to the protection of the interests of our Motherland, information support of the country’s foreign policy, including as official representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
It is gratifying that today the faculty is dynamically developing, mastering new directions of scientific and educational activities, generally keeping pace with the trends of the information society. This is undoubtedly the merit of a team of like-minded teachers who are ardently devoted to their work.
I am convinced that the Faculty of MJ has many significant achievements ahead. I wish you health, prosperity, new successes and all the best.
