Venezuelan People’s Power Minister for Social Work Francisco Torrealba and his Namibian counterpart Utoni Nujoma signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Wednesday to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The agreement, which was signed at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Caracas, is aimed at strengthening the bonds of solidarity and cooperation for the benefit of the working class of both countries.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding between Venezuela and Namibia is being carried out to strengthen bilateral relations in all areas, within the framework of the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy promoted by the Venezuelan Government.
It should be noted that relations between Venezuela and Namibia are focused on energy activities. Within the framework of good relations, in October last year, the National Assembly of Venezuela established the Parliamentary Friendship Group between Venezuela and Namibia to continue developing relations with this country, a connection that dates back to 1990.
