The Gala concert of the 1st International Competition-Festival “Khachaturian and Contemporaries” took place in the main hall of the Armenian Embassy.
The organizer of the competition- festival was the DMSH named after.Khachaturian and the Cultural Center of the Armenian Embassy.
On behalf of the embassy, the guests were greeted by the head of the Cultural Center, Vladimir Gabbe, and awarded the laureates with a special diploma “for the performance of works by Armenian composers.”
In his speech, the director of the DMSH named afterKhachaturian Yulia Buryleva thanked the Embassy for the high reception and support of the project.
The laureates of the competition were awarded by the honorary jury of the festival in the person of Professor of the Moscow Conservatory Strukov A.S. and merit.Artist of Armenia, Professor of the Moscow Conservatory S.A.Akhnazaryan.
The concert, performed by the winners of the festival, featured world-famous works by Armenian, Russian and foreign composers.
