A Week of Family Multifunctional Centers will be held in the Novgorod Region from April 1-6. It is held so that as many families as possible learn about the resource possibilities of Family MFCs and can receive social assistance in a “one-stop shop” format.
The Borovichi and Veliky Novgorod Family MFC will host daily events where specialists will familiarize themselves with the work of the centers and consult on social support measures. Creative workshops and game programs have been prepared for the younger guests. Families will also be able to receive psychological and legal assistance. The detailed program is published on the website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Novgorod region.
In 2022, the Novgorod Region became one of eight participants in a pilot project to create family multifunctional centers. They are designed for the prompt and comprehensive provision of social services to families with children in various life situations. In 2022 and 2023 Family-owned MFCs have opened in the largest cities of the region – Veliky Novgorod and Borovichi.
The reception of citizens there is carried out in a “one-stop shop” mode. Specialists help to apply and arrange social support measures, register on the portal “Work in Russia” and get acquainted with the services of the Employment Center, educational organizations, healthcare, culture and sports.
The center has comfortable conditions for families with children. A comfortable playroom for children is provided next to the service windows. Any family that needs the help of social specialists or simply needs to receive information and advisory services can contact the Family MFC.
