On May 13, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov received the Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic in Moscow Bashar Jaafari at his request.
During the conversation, a thorough exchange of views took place on the development of the situation in and around Syria, including the tasks of promoting a comprehensive settlement and post-conflict reconstruction of this country.
Topical issues of further strengthening Russian-Syrian multifaceted cooperation were also discussed.
