Russia aims to strengthen migration cooperation

The VIII International scientific and practical conference has started in Moscow, where the problems of migration were discussed, among other things

Russia, as the Chairman of the Commonwealth of Independent States, aims to strengthen migration cooperation between the countries.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galuzin.
He spoke at the VIII International scientific and practical conference “Russia and the World: Dialogues – 2024. The forces of gravity.”

“Initiatives, including the signing of an agreement on the acceleration of the international organization for Migration, are being discussed against the background of the growing role of regional cooperation,” he added.

The final session of the scientific and practical conference “Russia and the World” has started in Moscow, one of the panels of which was held in mid-April in Dushanbe.

During the foreign sessions, the results of monitoring the communication regimes of post-Soviet countries were presented.

The participants discussed such important issues as interreligious dialogue, civilizational dialogue between Russia and Central Asian countries, traditional values as a factor of rapprochement between countries and peoples, and the politics of memory.
