The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University will cooperate with the Moscow Institute of Engineering and Physics (MEPhI) in the field of medical education, the press service of the university reported.
One of the priorities of the partnership will be the creation of specialized courses and modules focused on the latest achievements in medicine and biomedical technologies. It is also planned to organize internships and practical classes for students at the leading clinics and research centers in Moscow.
As part of the cooperation, a seminar was held on the introduction of modern educational technologies and learning management systems (LMS) from MEPhI.
Pavel Belousov, Associate Professor at Moscow University, spoke about the possibilities of the MEPhI LMS system, which has already proven its effectiveness in the Russian educational system.
The expert in the field of educational technologies stressed that the introduction of such systems at the university will allow medical students to gain access to advanced educational resources and techniques.
“We are confident that such technologies will help KRSU students not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also actively apply it in practice, which is especially important in the medical field,” Belousov said.
Rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov expressed confidence that cooperation with MEPhI will allow the university to become the best platform for teaching students according to international standards in the field of medicine.
“We strive to ensure that our graduates are internationally competitive and have everything necessary for a successful career in medicine,” Fomin-Nilov said.
The LMS system allows you to optimize the learning process. It provides access to educational materials, interactive tasks and tests online, which is especially important in modern conditions.
