The concurists from Uzbekistan won three medals at the international show jumping tournament “Emerald Stables Cup”, held in the Moscow region, the NOC reports.
“Representatives of the Uzbek national team managed to perform successfully and take prizes. In particular, our compatriots won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals during the tournament,” the message reads.
Silver medal:
Bekzod Kurbonov (on a horse named “Santo Hippica”), obstacle height 130 cm.
The bronze medal:
Khurshidbek Alimzhonov (on a horse named “Champions League”), obstacle height130 cm;
Khurshidbek Alimzhonov (Champions League), obstacle height 135 cm.
For reference: Show jumping is a type of equestrian sport where participants overcome various obstacles on a predetermined route, demonstrating their agility and speed.
If a participant passes obstacles without following the sequence specified in the route, then he violates the route scheme. To correct mistakes, he must pass the obstacles again from the point where the violation occurred. For failure to comply with this requirement, the athlete faces disqualification.
