During the first meeting of the working group on increasing trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan, held in Moscow, it became known about Uzbekistan’s plans to open agrologistic and logistics centers in the regions of Russia. This is aimed at achieving the goal of increasing the volume of trade turnover to $ 30 billion by 2030, the press service of the Bashkiria government reports.
In this regard, Uzbekistan intends to open agrologistic and logistics centers in the regions of Russia. This will increase the supply of Russian meat, fish, oils, grain, sugar and confectionery. In turn, Russia will buy vegetables, fruits, nuts, coffee and tea from Uzbekistan, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach said.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria and head of the regional Ministry of Energy Rustam Muratov said that the possibility of building a logistics center for goods from Uzbekistan on the territory of the republic is being considered. It is also planned to create two joint technology parks in Bashkiria and Uzbekistan.
