On 20 September, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, M.L. Bogdanov, received Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Advisor to the President of the State of Palestine on Religious Affairs, Chief Justice of Palestine, who is in Moscow at the invitation of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation.
During the conversation, which was attended by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Moscow A. Nofal, the main attention was paid to the situation in the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The Russian side reaffirmed its readiness to continue political and diplomatic efforts aimed at an early cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip and the provision of humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian population.
They also considered topical issues of further strengthening of traditionally friendly Russian-Palestinian relations.
