On October 22, Russian-Chinese foreign Ministry consultations on consular issues took place in Beijing. During the meeting, the prospects for further liberalization of the visa regime, issues of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the two countries, as well as the functioning of foreign institutions were discussed.
The negotiations were held in a businesslike and constructive atmosphere. The parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation on the entire range of issues. We have agreed to hold another round of consular consultations in Moscow in 2025.
