On November 8, the Deputy Head of the Canadian Diplomatic Mission in Moscow was summoned to the Foreign Ministry and handed an official note in connection with false accusations regarding Russian “acts of sabotage” allegedly being planned against NATO countries, including through the delivery of parcels containing explosives to addressees in Canada.
The diplomat was told that these conjectures, circulated via syndicated media reports at the initiative of the United States and its satellites in the context of a hybrid war unleashed against Russia and the provision of the Kiev regime with modern weaponry, as well as the involvement of mercenaries from Canada in combat operations on the side of the Kiev regime, with the blessing of the Government of Justin Trudeau, highlight preparations for a possible crude anti-Russia provocation. It was emphasised that the countries, including Canada, that voice unacceptable accusations against Russia in advance, shall assume complete responsibility for a possible “false flag” provocation.
The Canadian official was notified that, as before, any hostile actions will not go unanswered. Canadian authorities should display prudence and refrain from deleterious actions exacerbating confrontation with Russia.
