On November 8, in Sochi, on the sidelines of the first ministerial conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, a meeting was held between the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov and Acting Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mauritius Janmajesing Bissundoyal.
During the conversation, the mood of Moscow and Port Louis was confirmed for the further progressive development of Russian-Mauritian multifaceted ties, including building up mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade and economic field, as well as in the fields of tourism, fisheries, healthcare, science and education.
At the same time, mutual interest was expressed in deepening political dialogue and coordination in international affairs – at the UN and other multilateral platforms.
