The Eurasian Economic Commission, the National Center for Marketing and Price Conjuncture, as well as the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus held a demonstration of pilot projects for the development of a national single window mechanism in the Republic of Belarus.
The event was attended by representatives of the EEC, customs services, public authorities and businesses of the EAEU countries involved in the implementation of the project for the development of national single window mechanisms.
The participants of the event were presented the organizational and legal aspects of the project on the formation of the electronic platform “One window of foreign economic activity” in the Republic of Belarus, the functionality of the portal “E-Pasluga” and the administered customs business processes.
“The Single Window mechanism is a promising project in the EAEU, which aims to create the necessary conditions for the development of foreign economic activity. It integrates the world experience in creating modern models of the Single Window mechanism using progressive organizational, legal, technical and technological solutions,” said Ruslan Davydov, Minister for Customs Cooperation of the EEC.
It was noted that the project implemented in the member states meets the requirements of the EAEU digital agenda, and in terms of implementing regulatory functions, it is associated with the development of the institute of “smart” customs.
By Order of the EEC Council dated April 5, 2021 No. 4 “On the action plan for the implementation of Strategic Directions for the Development of Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025”, measures, mechanisms and measures for the implementation of the Strategy 2025 were defined. These include events related to the demonstration of pilot projects on the implementation of national single window mechanisms to ensure their further compatibility and the possibility of data exchange.
