“My third child was born. I heard on TV and read on the Internet that the state supports large families with various payments and benefits. I would like to learn about all the measures in one place. Is there a single resource?” asks Galina Gordeeva.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Ryazan region explained that each large family will be assigned a social supervisor who will tell you where to go and help with the registration of all payments, services and necessary documents. All municipalities have multifunctional family centers. There are two of them in Ryazan: in the Family Center and in the building of the regional Employment Center. There, in the “one window” mode, you can get information about payments, social support measures, as well as get advice from a psychologist and a lawyer.

You can find out about all payments and services yourself by downloading the Open Region 62 mobile application. You can also send a request for a social curator there.

The website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population also has all the information if you click on the banner “Regional family Standard”.

The other day, Denis Tarakanov, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the region’s population, commented on the issue of assistance to large families on a direct line to the SDGs.

– Large families are the basis of social policy. This is the future of our country,” Denis Tarakanov stressed. – In pursuance of the decree of President Vladimir Putin, a set of measures has been taken in the region. Amendments have been made to the regional law and the government decree. The first thing that has been done is to remove the criteria of need. For example, payment by the beginning of the school year is now provided not only to the poor, but is provided for each child from a large family, regardless of its income level. The volume of benefits provided for utility bills has also been increased. The scope of use of maternity capital has been expanded for large families. Now it can also be used for the repair and gasification of housing.

The Minister noted that the status of having many children should be respected. Therefore, the State also involves the private sector in providing assistance to such families. So, today, about two hundred commercial sector organizations provide benefits and discounts for large families.

– We are expanding this list as planned, – said Denis Tarakanov. – It already includes cinemas in Ryazan and leisure centers. In addition, large families have the opportunity to visit all museums anywhere in the country for free at any time, without limitation in number.

To enter the museum for free, it is enough to present a certificate of a large family. Currently, a unified campaign is underway across the country to replace old certificates with a federal-style document, which will be valid throughout the country. As the minister explained, you do not need to apply for the service yourself.

Family curators contact each family themselves and invite them to issue a document at a convenient time. You will only need to come once. You must have an old ID card and a photo with you. During the visit, the photo will be pasted into a new ID and immediately given to the family.

In addition, the region is participating in a pilot project. Since mid-October, large families have been issued an electronic QR code, which also allows them to use all services. The QR code will become an analogue of a paper ID. It is available on the public services portal in the “Family and Children” section. Using this code, you can enter any museum for free without presenting a paper ID.

– We are moving on, – said Denis Tarakanov. – There is a single digital map of a resident of the Ryazan region. Now discounted public transport is available for those with many children. We strive to ensure that in the future a large family using this digital card can also receive a discount at any grocery store in the region.
