Every second Sunday in November, Turkmenistan celebrates the Harvest Festival. This year, the main celebrations were held on the picturesque bank of the Karakum River near Ashgabat.
The guests were introduced to the exhibition of achievements of the agricultural and food industry. Also, within the framework of the event, demonstrations of cooking Turkmen dishes with subsequent tasting, a colorful concert and a festive lunch were organized.
As noted Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin, a separate decoration of the celebration was the participation of famous Akhal-Teke horses and Turkmen alabai, which are deservedly considered a national treasure here.
