In the Year of the Family, on November 7, the grand opening of the exhibition “Center of the Universe” took place in the Art Gallery of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Lyubertsy city district. The exhibition is held to demonstrate the importance of love and warmth in everyone’s life, and is dedicated to family and traditional values.
Family is an inexhaustible source of strength and inspiration that fills life with vivid emotions and unforgettable stories. The most touching and significant moments are experienced in the family circle, which remain in the memory for a lifetime. Through works of art, the artists of the Center of the Universe exhibition explore how love and warmth permeate family relationships and create unique stories.
All the works of the exhibition are made in the technique of pastel painting. Pastel adds a unique softness and expressiveness to images of family scenes.
The exhibition aims to emphasize the importance of the family in modern society, preserve and pass on traditional family values to future generations, and create a space to strengthen family ties. The Center of the Universe exhibition is not only an art exhibition, but also a lively dialogue about what makes the family the center of our universe.
The exhibition presents more than 100 works by 42 artists from 12 cities of Russia, who have passed a competitive selection. The curator of the exhibition was Anna Baluyeva, an employee of TVEL JSC, a member of the National Union of Pastelists. Participants and guests received prizes and gifts from the partners of the exhibition.
According to the results of the competition for the best work, Ekaterina Grafova and her work “Guardian Angel” became the gold medalist, Natalia Delnetskaya and her work “Good Morning” became the silver medalist, Elena Kashina and her work “Do you remember grandma’s hands” became the bronze medalist.
The winners in the nomination “Honorary recognition of the jury” were Natalia Udaltsova, Yulia Chuguevskaya, Irina Klimova, Natalia Tishkova, Elena Styrova, Nika Spirova, Valeria Kulikova, Maria Kolesnichenko, Svetlana Kashcheeva, Tatyana Kuznetsova. Their work can be seen when visiting the exhibition.
