The international TV BRICS network, together with its partner, the Global Television Network of China (CGTN), present the BizTalk media project. It is dedicated to the XVI BRICS Summit, held in Kazan in October and timed to coincide with the cross-Cultural Years of Russia and China (2024-2025).
The program is already available in English. The premiere in Russian will take place on November 21 at 20:30 Moscow time (repeat – November 23 at 13:00) on the air of TV BRICS.
In the project, experts from China, Russia and other countries shared their views on financial cooperation between the BRICS countries and discussed what key events took place in this area during the year of Russia’s presidency of the group in 2024. In addition, the participants talked about the prospects of creating a single currency.
As Zhou Mi, senior researcher at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, noted, the financial sector is one of the most significant within the framework of the BRICS.
“In recent years, BRICS trade has reached a new level, and we see that financial support is needed for its development. Therefore, financial companies initially focused on this area to facilitate trade and investment. We see that certain exchange mechanisms are working between the countries, as well as platforms to support trade and investment operations,” he said.
Last year, TV BRICS and CGTN launched a joint project dedicated to the third forum of international cooperation “One Belt– One Road”. In it, the invited experts assessed current trends in the global economy and the role of the Greater Eurasian Partnership (BEP) in this process. The program is available on the Russian and English versions of the TV BRICS website.
TV BRICS TV channel broadcasts in Russian throughout Russia through digital TV operators, online services for watching TV channels, as part of on-air TV channels, on video hosting and on social networks. In addition, the broadcast is available in foreign languages on the corresponding versions of the TV BRICS portal.
