As part of the Year of the Family, the interregional photo exhibition “My Family! My Russia!” The exhibition presents more than 30 creative works by photographers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kalmykia, the Republic of Mari El, Donetsk, Samara, Tula.
The photographers tried to capture the unique moments of bright family and festive events, spending the weekend with the family. It turned out to be a “peep”: the shots turned out to be lively and sincere.
The museum’s director Irina Muchaeva opened the exhibition with a welcoming speech, thanking everyone who contributed to the organization of the exhibition.
Marina Olzyatieva, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, Minister of Social Development, Labor and Employment of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also took part in the opening of the exhibition. On behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister, the welcome address was read out by Deputy Minister of Social Development, Labor and Employment of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ekaterina Toldykova.
“It is gratifying to note that this important event dedicated to the Year of the Family is taking place in our republic, which pays great attention to the protection of motherhood and childhood, the preservation and popularization of traditional family values. Since January, more than 500 events at the regional and municipal levels have been held in Kalmykia. Today’s event was a continuation of a series of good deeds, one might say, a real creative flash mob that brought together photo artists from different regions of our country. You have not only expressed respect for us, but also embodied the very idea of the inseparable connection of family happiness with the well–being and development of our Fatherland,” Marina Olzyatieva said in her welcoming speech.
