Russian Ambassador V.G. Sokolenko held working meetings with the Ambassadors of China – Wang Xining, Egypt – Tarek Youssef and Sudan – Osman Mahamat Yunus accredited in N’Djamena at their request.
The Ambassadors were informed about the main results of the Russia–Africa Forum ministerial conference held on November 9-10 in Sochi and the documents adopted at it. Additional comments were made on the basis of the Address of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin to the leaders of African countries and speeches by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov during contacts with the heads of delegations participating in the Council of Foreign Affairs.
An exchange of views took place on issues of mutual interest.
