On November 16, Russian Ambassador to Armenia S.P.Kopyrkin, during a visit to the Lori region, together with employees of the Russian House in Armenia, as well as representatives of national and public organizations, laid flowers at monuments located in the region dedicated to significant events in the common history of Russia and Armenia.

There they were surrounded by a six-thousandth Persian army. IA Montresor and his soldiers, rejecting the offer of surrender, fought valiantly, dying the death of the brave.
