Russian Russian Language Week in Slovakia was held from November 11 to 15, the opening of which took place at the Russian House in Bratislava with the participation of the Russian Embassy.
The program includes master classes, quests, lectures by leading teachers, exhibitions and other educational events aimed at supporting interest in the Russian language and literature and educational and methodological assistance in teaching them at school.
The target audience was students of Slovak gymnasiums and university students. Lecturers were teachers of Surgut State Pedagogical University (SurGPU), Slovak and Austrian universities.
The main topics of the Week were the works of L.N.Tolstoy and F.M.Dostoevsky, whose works are included in the curricula of secondary and higher schools in Slovakia.
Everyone who wanted to listen to the lectures could connect to the online broadcast.
Russian Russian Academy of Sciences (Ruslana) implemented the project with the support of the Union of Russians in Slovakia, in cooperation with SurGPU, the Russian House in Bratislava and the European Foundation for Slavic Writing and Culture.
