A concert of the Ural State Academic Russian Folk Choir was held at the National College of Arts in Vientiane through Rosconcert with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Embassy in Laos.
The event was attended by the heads of a number of Lao ministries and departments, including Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of the Lao People’s Republic S. Folsen and Deputy Minister of Defense P.Thiengham, Lao schoolchildren and students who learn Russian.
The concert of Ural artists, performed by which Russian folk songs were performed, became the culmination of a cultural and educational program in Laos organized by Roskontsert, was warmly received by the Lao audience and received wide coverage in the local media.
