The winners of the All-Russian online competition “Family of Russia Award” were awarded in Sevastopol. The winners were 96 large families, including 19 participants from Sevastopol.
In the Year of the family, 409 works were submitted to the competition, including 46 from Sevastopol residents. The participants of the competition are large families from Sevastopol, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Volgograd and Sverdlovsk regions. They shared the secrets of family happiness, stories about their traditions and values in videos, essays and presentations. The competition was held in seven categories: “From experience to joy”, “Family Hero”, “Travelers with many children”, “Family Strength”, “Family photo album: happy moments”, “Reliable rear is the key to victory”, “Family traditions”.
19 families from Sevastopol were among the winners of the competition. Parents with many children are representatives of a wide variety of professions: builders, teachers, accountants. Many of them are engaged in volunteering. Families bring up their own and adopted children, gifted children with different talents and goals in life, who have achieved success in sports, creativity and science. They all grow up in an atmosphere of love, unity and mutual understanding.
The family is among the winners Vladimir and Natalia Pica, who has eight children. The eldest son, Yuri, died heroically on his own in July 2023. The Oshomok couple have six children. Pope Nicholas is now fulfilling his military duty. The eldest son Nikita died heroically in September 2022 while performing combat missions. Also among the winners of the competition is a unique family Andrey Gerasimov and Svetlana Koroleva, in which 19 children are raised.
The ceremony was attended by Irina Zaloznova, Deputy Director of the DTSZN, and Elena Karabut, Chairman of the public council of the Strong Family party project. At the ceremony, a photo exhibition was opened, which introduces the bright large families of Sevastopol.
“When we looked at your works, there was tenderness, love, loyalty, care, respect in each of them. And the most important thing is that in your families everyone helps each other, supports each other, forgives. I am proud that there are such families in Sevastopol. Take care of each other!”, — said Inna Goncharova.
The Family of Russia Award project is being implemented by Parents Choice NGO with the support of United Russia. The project won a grant for the development of civil society provided by the Presidential Grants Fund.
