The agreement on information interaction between the administrator of electronic passport systems for vehicles, self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment of the Eurasian Economic Union (JSC “Electronic Passport”) and the national operator of electronic vehicle passport systems of the Republic of Belarus (JSC “TSNIITU”) was signed in Minsk.
The signed document is aimed at fulfilling the provisions of the Agreement on the Introduction of uniform forms of vehicle passports (vehicle chassis passports) and passports of self-propelled vehicles and Other Types of equipment and the organization of electronic passport systems dated August 15, 2014.
“The signing of the Agreement on Information Interaction is a very important step in the development of electronic passport systems,” said Valentin Tataritsky, Minister for Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission. “Despite its temporary nature, it is of great importance for ensuring the free circulation of equipment in the Eurasian Economic Union.”
Earlier, in August of this year, a similar Agreement on information interaction was concluded at the headquarters of the Eurasian Economic Commission – between JSC “Electronic Passport” and the national operator of electronic passport systems of the Republic of Kazakhstan (JSC “National Information Technologies”).
