TV BRICS and India’s leading private university will work together to raise the profile of BRICS

The international TV BRICS network will cooperate with the leading private university of the Republic of India in the direction of strengthening the foreign policy positions of the BRICS countries. The agreement on joint activities was signed by Dr. Vikas Madhukar, Head of the BRICS Research Center, Vice-Rector of Amity University in Gurugram (Haryana State), and Zhanna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS. The solemn ceremony of signing the document was held in India. The partners agreed to exchange information, implement joint media projects and hold events, including scientific conferences and teleconferences, aimed at increasing the authority of the BRICS countries on the world stage.

“The partnership between the BRICS Research Center at Amity University and the international TV BRICS network represents a strategic collaboration that contributes to the achievement of the broader goals of the BRICS agenda. This is a great opportunity to shape the global perception of BRICS unification. This cooperation will help enhance the role of BRICS on the world stage, taking into account the inclusion of the parties in public discourse, the emphasis on the group’s multilateral approach to global challenges and the provision of accurate and contextual information. It will contribute to a better understanding, strengthening and support of the BRICS initiatives and, ultimately, the creation of a more inclusive global community and ready to act together,” Vikas Madhukar said.

The BRICS Research Center at Amity University was established in 2011. Its main goal is to promote comprehensive research and disseminate the most important information about the geopolitical and geostrategic dynamics of the BRICS countries.

Zhanna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, said that today more than 30 institutions of higher education in Russia, Brazil, India and South Africa are partners of the media network, including members of the BRICS Network University, as well as the Ministry of Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba and the Ministry of Education of Cuba.

The TV BRICS media network is an international partner of many major events organized under the auspices of universities, including the St. Petersburg State University Cultural Code Youth Forum and the Kostomarov Forum of the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language (Russia), the forum of graduate students of the Durban University of Technology (South Africa), the BRICS Documentary Film Festival of the Federal University of Latin American Integration UNILA (Brazil), as well as jointly with the University of Jawaharlal Nehru (India) is conducting teleconferences as part of his own information and educational project “Modern Russian”.
