On November 21, Russian Ambassador A.D. Viktorov met with the UAE Ambassador to Israel, Mohammed Al Hajri.
Topical issues of the international and regional agenda were discussed, with an emphasis on the current situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone and the Israeli-Lebanese border area.
The need to coordinate efforts on the Middle East issue both in a bilateral format and within the framework of multilateral associations was emphasized. They expressed confidence that the UAE’s accession to the BRICS as a full-fledged participant will contribute to solving this important task.
The mutual intention to further develop the traditionally friendly multifaceted Russian-Emirati relations, which have the character of a strategic partnership, was stated.
It was agreed to maintain contacts.
