On November 20-22, the chef of the Russian Embassy in Nicaragua, L.A.Kalachev, held master classes in Russian cuisine for students of the Higher Institute of International Gastronomy and Culinary Arts of El Salvador.
As part of the practical classes, L.A.Kalachev demonstrated recipes for famous pancakes, kurnik, cabbage soup and meat solyanka, shared techniques for cooking national dishes, and talked about the culinary traditions of our country.
The master classes were held with the participation of the head of the Astronomical Institute, French chef A.Hermione, who highly appreciated the skill of his colleague and the taste of Russian cuisine.
The visit of the chef from Russia aroused great interest among representatives of the gastronomic industry of El Salvador. In total, over a hundred chefs and restaurateurs attended his master classes.
