On November 22, Yekaterinburg hosted a seminar for compatriots who arrived in the Sverdlovsk region, which was attended by Deputy Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Yekaterinburg A.N.Ivanov. This important event brought together Russian-speaking citizens from different parts of the world, giving them the opportunity to get better acquainted with the life and culture of the Urals, as well as establish contact with local authorities and organizations.

Before the event, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Vasily Kozlov held a solemn ceremony of handing over Russian passports to new citizens of the Russian Federation.

During the event, A.N.Ivanov stressed the importance of maintaining ties with compatriots living abroad. He noted that the region is ready to offer newcomers many opportunities for integration and self-realization, whether in the field of education, professional activity or cultural exchange.

The seminar included not only informational sessions, but also interactive discussions, voicing ideas and suggestions of participants. Everyone had the opportunity to ask questions to representatives of the authorities and get useful advice about further residence in the Sverdlovsk region.

Together we are shaping a future based on friendship and cooperation. Each of you is important to Russia, and we hope that your contribution will help make our country even better.
