The Federation of Travel Agencies of India (TAFI) will hold an annual industry conference in Ninh Binh Province in northern Vietnam. This is reported by Vietnam News Agency, a partner of the TV BRICS network.

The main theme of the event “Tourism for the Future: Saving the planet” reflects the ideas of sustainable development and environmental protection. The organizers also strive to demonstrate the potential of this region as one of the promising areas of international tourism.

It is expected that more than 400 representatives of Indian companies will take part in the conference. It is expected that cooperation in the field of tourism will become one of the key factors in the economic rapprochement between Hanoi and New Delhi.

TAFI Chairman Ajay Prakash said India’s hospitality industry is booming, with domestic and cross-border travel reaching record levels after the COVID-19 pandemic.

In turn, Vietnam’s Consul General in Mumbai, Le Quang Bien, noted the steady growth of business ties between the two countries.
