On November 28, Ambassador I.B.Bratchikov visited the President of the Association of Russian Studies of Slovakia, E.Kollarova, a well–known philologist, cultural critic and teacher in the country.
The head of the diplomatic Mission congratulated E.Kollarova on being awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. Patrice Lumumba” and wished further success in the development of cultural and humanitarian ties between the peoples of Russia and Slovakia, closely linked by historical fate and time-tested.
The Ambassador conveyed congratulations from the Chairman of the Russian Cultural Foundation N.S.Mikhalkov on the recent anniversary of Professor Kollarova.
During the conversation, the possibilities of cooperation in order to develop interest in the Russian language among Slovak youth were discussed.
