The internship took place from December 3-6 and brought together 30 managers, specialists and youth workers of government agencies, public associations and universities from Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan.
The participants of the program discussed the prospects for the development of youth policy in the Commonwealth and shared the best practices implemented in their institutions and regions.
The program also included:
familiarization with the activities of government agencies implementing youth policy in Belarus;
familiarization with current methods of preventing destructive effects on young people on the Internet and social networks;
visits to youth centers and public organizations;
a visit to the MAZ plant, where youth policy is also being implemented and the position of a youth specialist has been introduced.
As part of the internship, the activities of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS member States and the Basic Organization of the CIS Member States for Youth Work (RTU MIREA) were presented.
A special part of the program was a visit to the Khatyn Memorial Complex and the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
Internships are implemented by the Institute of Youth Policy and International Relations of RTU MIREA, the basic organization of the CIS member states for youth work within the framework of advanced training courses “Organization of work with youth in the CIS” and “International Youth Cooperation” with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
