On December 9, the Russian Ambassador to Benin and Togo (concurrently) I.D. Evdokimov received Zhang Wei, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Cotonou, on a courtesy visit.
During the conversation, a thorough exchange of views took place on a number of topical issues on the international and regional agenda, as well as on the current state and prospects of relations between Russia and China with Benin.
