On December 10-11, the regional forum “Welcome to the Urals!” was held at the USUE site. The main topic of the forum was the national policy of Russia.
Educational lectures on compliance with the legislation of our country, as well as events aimed at implementing the policy of social and cultural adaptation and integration of foreign citizens were organized at the forum site.
The participants got acquainted with the culture of Russia, its national holidays and traditions. Expositions dedicated to the vision of Yekaterinburg by foreigners will be placed on the university’s territory, as well as a special thematic exhibition “Foreign students in Russian folk costumes”.
Alexander Ivanov, Deputy Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Yekaterinburg, took part in the plenary session that opened the forum.
A.N.Ivanov noted that the principle of reciprocity is fundamental not only in international relations, but also in matters of respect for traditions, culture and laws.
