New Year’s greetings from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Kenya V.I.Tkachenko for readers of the Online publication “Embassy Life”.

Dear readers, dear staff of the Embassy Life publication,
On the eve of the New Year 2025, I would like to pay tribute to the outgoing year 2024, which was full of many events and achievements that testified to the leading role of our country in the formation of a multipolar world order. In this new modern reality, which rejects any manifestations of dominance and neocolonialism, the most important place is occupied by the countries of the Global South, with which Russia is building strong relations based on equality, respect, friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation.
Africa is a new center of global growth and a solid pillar of a new just world order. African countries are long–standing partners and time-tested friends of Russia. This friendship is based on constant mutual respect for State sovereignty, national interests, traditions and values. It is gratifying that the Embassy Life publication is actively highlighting the successes of Russian-African cooperation, and I hope to continue our fruitful joint work in this area in the coming year.
On behalf of the staff of the Russian Embassy in Kenya and on my own behalf, I sincerely wish you a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! I wish you and your loved ones happiness, good health, well-being and inexhaustible energy for the implementation of the most ambitious plans. May 2025 be full of bright moments, new ideas and achievements.

V.I.Tkachenko
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
Of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kenya,
Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation
to International Organizations in Nairobi
